Why a mock matters more this year
SQE1 pass rates fell to a record low of 41% in July 2025 and were 42% in July 2026, when about one in five candidates were resitting. Common questions
Is the SQE1 mock test really free?
Yes - the free timed test is a 25-question diagnostic timed at 1m42s a question, with worked answers and the AI tutor, no card needed. All five full 180-question mock papers are included with either paid access option; that is the format used up to July 2026, and from January 2027 the exam is 170 questions per paper.
How long is the free mock?
It is timed at about 1 minute 42 seconds per single-best-answer question, a touch tighter than the 1 minute 48 seconds the January 2027 format gives you, so you feel the time pressure of the day as well as the questions.
Does it cover FLK1 and FLK2?
You can sit FLK1 or FLK2 questions. The full bank covers all 137 topics of the SQE1 syllabus across both papers.
Do I get the answers explained?
