Lawdojo is built by common law qualified lawyers and legal professionals — a trainer for SQE1 that is accurate first, and affordable on purpose.
Why we built it
SQE1 is hard, broad, and getting harder — pass rates have fallen to record lows. The candidates who pass are the ones who arrive genuinely ready. Yet the structured courses run into thousands of pounds, and a lot of the cheaper material is unverified and inconsistent. We wanted something in between: prep good enough to trust, at a price a candidate can actually afford.
How we keep it accurate
Accuracy is the whole point — a single wrong answer teaches the wrong law. Every question is written to the SRA syllabus, checked against the law of England and Wales, and tied to its authority. The AI tutor is anchored to that verified reasoning, so it explains the actual answer rather than improvising. Where the law is genuinely unsettled, we say so.
